About
In collaboration with Wakefield Libraries’ WordFest Festival, join The Curator for a special Halloween Black Ledger Murder Walk.
Beginning at Wakefield Museum, you’ll head out into the city streets to uncover some of Wakefield’s darkest true stories.
This isn’t a ghost walk.
These are stories of real murders, suspicious deaths, terrible accidents and strange crimes drawn from Wakefield’s history.
Hear the evidence, discover what happened and find out whether those accused were found guilty or innocent.
But there’s a twist…
THE JURY IS YOU!
For one case, the ending will remain hidden. You’ll hear the story and evidence before deciding the verdict yourselves.
Will your decision match the verdict delivered all those years ago?
Your journey eventually leads to The Black Horse on Westgate, where the Black Ledger closes for the night.
