About
Join artist, illustrator, and print maker Angela Harding and Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage for a special in-conversation where these two creatives come together to discuss the relationship between image and the spoken word and their connections to Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Previously collaborating on the publication Blossomise, with Harding as illustrator to Armitage’s words, for Angela’s exhibition – A Chronicle of Birds and Beasts – at YSP Centre, Simon has written words for Angela’s illustrations, in a reversal of the more usual writer/illustrator practice.
There will be a book signing directly following the in-conversation where both Angela and Simon will be signing copies of their books. Merchandise developed for the exhibition will also be for sale at YSP Shop which Angela will be happy to sign.
This event will take place in the Visitor Centre auditorium.
