About

Get hands-on with history with a day of activities all about archaeology. Pontefract’s Young Archaeologists Club will be joining the team at Pontefract Castle. They’ll help you understand how archaeologists work and the jobs they do.


Meet archaeologists, get stuck in with demonstrations and activities, discover more about the archaeology of Pontefract Castle and even handle real objects from archaeological digs!
