About

Embark on a British Sign Language (BSL) Sculpture tour to discover the dynamic William Kentridge: The Pull of Gravity exhibition in the Underground Gallery, and surrounding outdoor works at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. As you walk through the gallery, you will discover more about this fascinating artist and his work.


Led by Deaf BSL user, Martin Glover, architect, and art facilitator who will guide you through the exhibitions and park. This tour will be conducted in BSL and is designed for the d/Deaf community.


Accessibility


The Underground Gallery is wheelchair accessible throughout. The surrounding outdoor gardens have flat access pathways with a gravel surface.


The nearest toilet facilities are in the Visitor Centre or Bothy Garden. A Changing Places toilet is available at YSP Learning.

Additional Information


Park at the main carpark and make your way through the Visitor Centre to the Underground Gallery, where a member of the Learning team will meet you outside the entrance to the gallery. The gallery can be accessed via an outdoor staircase, flat access route through the Bothy Garden or via life from the Visitor Centre.


Event tickets allow access to the Park for the rest of the day.
