Spend an evening with local Ceramicist Hannah Way and get creative in The Art House‘s ceramic studio, to make your very own coiled pot.
You’ll use hand-building ceramic techniques to design and make your own pot, and will be able to decorate it with coloured slip.
Pieces will be available to collect three weeks after the session once they have been through the kiln.
Who is the workshop for?
This workshop is suitable for adults who are complete beginners or for those who wish to refresh their previous knowledge. You don’t need to feel confident in clay to start this course as all aspects of the medium are covered.
Do I need to bring anything?
All equipment and tools will be provided for you on the day. We recommend wearing old clothes or bringing an apron in case you get a bit messy! If you have long hair please tie it back.
