Wakefield Music Collective present a Christmas Brass Band concert in Clarence Park with Wakefield’s very own Phoenix Brass band. The event starts at 1pm and all are welcome. The Phoenix band are a popular band and have played on the bandstand many times to the delight of the audience. Come and join us for our Festive event with mince pies and mulled wine in the interval.
There will also be a tea and coffee van with hot beverages. You can even bring your own and bring a picnic if you wish. The event is free and usually attracts a good crowd. Bring all the family, wrap up and bring blankets and chairs if required. We will have a lovely afternoon of Christmas songs and popular music.
In the event of very inclement weather, this event may be cancelled – however, we have only had to cancel once in the history of the concerts. Light snow or rain will not stop the band!
