Join us as Stephanie Thompson from the National Coal Mining Museum for England explores the link between coal mining and rhubarb in her talk: ‘Coal, Rhubarb and Miners’ Welfare’.


Stephanie is from Leeds. She studied BA (Hons) Conservation and Restoration at the University of Lincoln and MA Heritage Management at the University of Birmingham. She has worked in collections care and management for a number of years at the Wordsworth Trust, the Green Howards Museum and the National Coal Mining Museum for England.


A British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter will be present at this event.
