About

For hundreds of years, fabric arts and crafts have been used as a form of activism and protest.

Explore examples of arty activism from history. Try out different textile techniques. Make your own fabric piece promoting a cause you care about.

No sewing experience is needed.

This workshop is designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16. Accompanying adults are welcome, but not essential.

The workshop will take place in the ‘Learning Zone’ which is located within the main Wakefield Library space on the Upper Ground Floor of the Wakefield One building.
