Visit Wakefield Museums & Castles’ museum hub located in South Elmsall library to meet the Faces of South Elmsall.


This exhibition is an installation by leading photographic artist, Jonathan Straight. It celebrates some of the people and stories that make South Elmsall and the surrounding towns and villages unique. Some of the stories you might expect. Others are more unusual…


Visit the hub to discover the tales of The Dolphin Trainer, The Bottle Collector, and The Fairground Ride Restorer.  Each fascinating story features a stunning new photographic portrait, treasured objects, and an exclusive short film clip.
