Learning Disability Week takes place between Monday 17 and Friday 21 June 2024. The national theme this year is “Do you see me?” This is about being seen, heard and valued, celebrating the contribution that people with a learning disability make to society.

The Wakefield Learning Disability and Autism Partnership Board have been working with the Lift Up Friends self-advocacy group to organise an Exhibition of Talent where people with learning disabilities can exhibit their own creative work on this theme as part Our Year 2024 to show what Learning Disability Week means to them.

There will also be a crafting session in Treacy Hall on the afternoon of Tuesday 18 June, all welcome.
