About
Create your own clay vessel inspired by the Playing with Fire: Edmund de Waal and Axel Salto exhibition at The Hepworth Wakefield.
In the galleries make textured drawings of your favourite Axel Salto drawing, prints and ceramics using collage and rubbings.
Back in the Clore Learning Studios make a pitch pot with air-drying clay and add texture and pattern inspired by Salto’s ceramics. Younger children can play with natural objects, draw and experiment with clay.
The Salto Clay workshop is suitable for families with children aged 2-12 years.
