About
Have a go at soap carving at The Hepworth Wakefield! Explore Barbara Hepworth’s sculptures and collect drawings of shapes and textures in her work.
In the Clore learning studios make your own Hepworth-inspired carved artwork using soap and wooden tools to scrape, make holes, shapes and add texture to your sculpture. Younger children can play with plasticine to squash, roll and shape their own Hepworth creations.
Suitable for children aged 2-12, FREE with an exhibition ticket (exhibition tickets are free for Wakefield district residents).
Please note
Children must be accompanied at all times. Maximum of three children per adult please.
Entry to the drop-in-workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis and families may have to wait to take part at busy times.
If you have any questions please contact the Learning Team on 01924 247398 or email learning@hepworthwakefield.org
