WX and Wakefield Music Collective present three exceptional acts, bringing fresh energy to Folk & Americana Music with foot-stomping spirit!
7.00pm – Red Shed Folk
We kick things off with Red Shed Folk, a group of accomplished singers and musicians bringing a taste of the much‑loved folk sessions from The Red Shed. Expect warm harmonies, traditional favourites, and a joyful start to the evening.
8.00pm – Seasoned Wood
Next up, Tom Macdonald, Ian & Elaine Wood take the stage as Seasoned Wood, sharing their deep love of traditional folk through heartfelt vocals and skilled musicianship. A beautifully crafted set from seasoned performers.
9.00pm – Headliner: Parceol
PARCEOL is a collective of multi-instrumentalists, singers and songwriters performing a variety of folk and contemporary songs and tunes, originals and covers, in their unique folk/roots style.
Parceol’s music incorporates sounds from across the wider folk world blending fiddle, flute, guitar and keyboards with marimba, mandolin, bodhran and cahon. Parceol’s sound is also uniquely marked by innovative arrangements and wonderful harmony singing.
