Food & Drink Castleford is a town-centre celebration of restaurants, bars, cafes and other food and drink outlets. Come and enjoy a day packed with live entertainment and community spirit, with small fairground rides outside the market on Carlton Street, and a balloon shaper and face-painter in the front entrance of the market.
From 1pm to 9pm, Rhubarb Radio, will be live in the square, providing great music, hosting activities and creating a fantastic festival atmosphere throughout the day.
Enjoy performances from talented local musicians and entertainers on the Community Stage and keep an eye out for your chance to win one of an exciting food and drink-themed spot prizes.
Yorkshire Craft Beers and The Craft Booze Company will be hosting a mini-beer festival in the square, offering offer visitors the opportunity to discover and sample a variety of locally brewed craft beers.
If craft beer isn’t your thing why not pop into Castleford market and enjoy an expanded market experience, with a special programme of artisan craft stalls joining the market’s regular traders for the day?
