Unleash your inner crafter and join Lakeside Creative Arts Centre for a fun and creative event where you can create your very own fused glass large floral wave using shaped glass pieces. This event is perfect for unleashing your artistic side and learning the art of glass fusion. Claire Myers of Cherry Tree Glass, an experienced glass fuser, will guide you through the process of selecting colourful glass pieces and arranging them together to create a stunning wave. No cutting or grinding involved!
The workshop includes all materials and refreshments and no previous experience is needed. You will create one piece measuring approximately 24x9cm. You will work on a flat piece of glass and the curved wave effect will be created by firing the piece on a shaped mould.
Following the session your work will be taken away to be fired and you can collect from Lakeside Creative Arts approximately two weeks later.
Maximum of 10 people per workshop and over 18’s only please.
