Sat 05 Mar 2022 - Sat 05 Mar 2022

10:00 - 13:00

Printing from gelatine plates, known as Gelli plates, is a form of monoprinting without the need for a press. It is a quick and playful process that can produce some interesting textures and patterns in print. The process uses water-based inks and mark-making tools to create overprinted layers.

You will come away from the workshop with a range of different monoprints printed onto A4 cartridge paper as well as instruction on how to make your own gelatine plates at home.
