Come and hear the story of Castleford through 17 individual gravestones in a guided walk at the Victorian cemetery.
This walking tour gives an insight into the life and times of the town during the 19th and early 20th centuries. It will explain the part its citizens played in local, national and international events.
Whilst the cemeteries are wheelchair accessible, several of the paths around the graves can be uneven and slippery. The talk is expected to last approximately 75 minutes.
Organised by Castleford Civic Society as part of Heritage Open Days 2025.
