Learn what people in the past did to stand out from the crowd. Make your own natural products inspired by historical techniques in this exciting Lotions and Potions workshop at Pontefract Castle.
You’ll be exploring the benefits of natural ingredients like beeswax, shea butter, cocoa butter and essential oils. Make your own naturally nourishing hand cream and lip balms.
This workshop is designed for teenagers aged 12 to 16. Accompanying adults are welcome, but not essential.

This activity is part of Wakefield Museums & Castles’ Heritage for Youth programme, where teenagers can get hands-on with history through interactive workshops.
