About
Join WildHearts Foraging for a guided food foraging walk along Horbury’s river, canal and pretty woodland areas to learn about the free wild foods, medicines and wild crafts available to us all with a little knowledge… and a basket. Learn how to identify local edible flowers, fruits, foliage and fungi safely and sustainably.
This foraging walk entails a steady 2 mile walk with plenty of stops along the way to talk about the wild treasures on offer. There are some steep parts to the walk and it may be slippy if wet, so please wear suitable footwear and bring waterproof jackets, the walk will be held rain or shine. There is a canal side pub on route where you can stop for refreshments and a toilet break.
Dogs are welcome but please be aware that other dogs may be in the group too.
Children up to 12 years old are welcome to join free of charge, over 12s will need a ticket.
More details will be emailed to you once tickets are processed.
