Celebrate the start of the festive season at the National Coal Mining Museum!
Enjoy live music from Hade Edge brass band, warm up with a glass of mulled wine or hot chocolate and watch as Santa arrives at the mine to switch on the Christmas lights across the Museum, before he heads underground to collect his coal.
While you’re here, keep an eye out for some extra special surprises lighting up the Museum for this weekend only.
