John Paul Ekins was born in London and began playing the piano at the age of five, many years later graduating from the Royal College of Music and as a scholar at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with first class degrees.
In demand as a recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician, Ekins has given performances throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, and overseas.
His evening playing for audience in Wakefield, courtesy of the Wakefield Concert Society, will include performances of:
