Jurassic Wakey – back for another bite!
This popular event from Wakefield BID has been extended to a 2-week period cumulating in a 2-day Dinosaur extravaganza in September in the Bull Ring, Wakefield City Centre.
Roam the city centre discovering lifelike displays of prehistoric creatures from a time long forgotten, wander the city with our augmented reality app, revealing full size beasts roaming around corner of the centre city and then if you dare, come along to our Dinosaur spectacular on the 3rd and 4th September to see them in all their glory!

Saturday 3 September

11.30am – Baby Dino meet and greet
12pm – Jurassic Rock
12.25pm – Fire show

There will be a separate area near Wakefield Cathedral with all the action live on a large screen for smaller children and families, with additional free face painting 11am – 3pm.
