Join Yorkshire Sculpture Park‘s heritage team on a guided tour of the Bretton Estate, learning more about renowned horticulturalist Lady Diana Beaumont and her lasting impact on the estate and all who knew her.
Diana Beaumont née Wentworth (Blackett) (1765-1831) was Mistress of Bretton for thirty nine years. She was a renowned horticulturalist, land and mine owner, and mother of three daughters and five sons. For Heritage Open Days, join the Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s heritage team on a walk in the landscape of Bretton estate to learn more about Diana, her life and times, and her lasting impact on the estate and all who knew her.
The walking tour will start at Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s Visitor Centre Information Desk and will take approximately 2 hours. There is limited access for mobility scooters due to the terrain. Paths are mostly established covering a distance of approximately 5 km with some areas of uneven and rough ground. Please wear suitable footwear. Dogs are not permitted on this tour.
Full day access to YSP is included in all tickets.
