About

Pontefract Civic Society is proud to partner with Richard Pennock to promote this launch and exhibition of artist, Tina Earnshaw.

Tina is a Yorkshire based floral artist, from Thornhill Edge, who has fast become one of Pomfret Gallery‘s most in demand artists! She works in mixed media, to create some beautiful and tranquil pieces of art.

She studied the ‘History of Art’ at Nottingham University and takes inspiration from the nature around her, in order to create her contemporary work. Tina creates well balanced compositions, with the use of colour and light and often hides a small fairy amongst the petals of her wonderful botanicals!

The exhibition will be open to the public and is free to attend. Tina will be present on Saturday 16 September from 1-3pm, and the exhibition will run for the following 2 weeks. A great opportunity to meet Tina, and it fits so well with the 2023 Heritage Open Days theme of ‘Art & Culture’!

There are two steps down into the Gallery from the street, wheelchair access is available via a portable ramp. However, the exhibition and launch are on the first floor of the building, which is only accessible by a flight of stairs.

The exhibition launch is on Saturday 16 September 1-3pm, and Tina’s work will remain as an exhibition for two weeks.
