Let’s make gingerbread! Join Wakefield Museum for some sugar, spice and all things nice!
Explore old objects used to bake tasty treats in the past. Smell a variety of spices and learn about their uses. Work together to make your own gingerbread mix to take home and bake.*
This workshop is suitable for families with children of all ages. It has been designed to provide opportunities for families to learn and have fun together.
The workshop is delivered in partnership with the Community & Family Learning Team at Wakefield Council’s Adult Education Service.
*One ball of dough per family; gluten and dairy free ingredient options available.
The workshop will take place in the ‘Learning Zone’ which is located within the main library space on the Upper Ground Floor of the Wakefield One building.
£2.50 per child, accompanying adults free.
