About

Learn all about lettering and lino printing at Wakefield Museum, including how to design and cut your own lino print.

Be inspired by letters, symbols and stories from Wakefield’s history. Explore medieval lettering and printing marks to bold modern typography.

Turn simple designs into striking handprinted artwork.

No drawing skills needed – just ideas, and willingness to have a go.

This is part of Wakefield Museums and Castles‘ programme of activities for 12-to-16-year-olds. Accompanying adults are welcome but not essential.

This event is suitable for children aged 12-16 years old.

The workshop will take place in the ‘Learning Zone’, inside Wakefield Library, upper ground floor of Wakefield One.
