Join the National Coal Mining Museum for performances, music and a spectacular projection, created by children and young people from across the district. Make your own lantern and join in with the unmissable community lantern parade around the museum site.
Enjoy pop-up activities, getting crafty with the lantern making workshops, brass band and fire artist performances, plus plenty of festive treats!
Throughout the day’s festivities, you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of tasty food and drink. The Museum Shop will also be stocked with plenty of Christmas gift ideas and treats for all ages.
Don’t forget that Santa returns for his Magic Workshop with lucky visitors.
