About

Drop in and hear the Liquorice Singers as they return to Heritage Open Days near St Giles Church and the Buttercross, under the direction of Rowena Dobson.

Pontefract’s very own community choir will be presenting a selection of popular songs from the repertoire prepared for earlier events in 2023.

The choir performs for and in our local community, making a difference to the singers and the audiences.

Donations have recently gone to local good causes, in particular to those who do not receive a lot of funding, such as Alba’s Adventures, Care To Talk, The Prince Of Wales Hospice, and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Organised by Pontefract Civic Society for Heritage Open Days.
