Hear the People’s Sculptor, Graham Ibbeson MBE, chat about his illustrious career and the process of creating his incredible works of art, many of which can be seen at the National Coal Mining Museum as part of his latest exhibition.


Graham Ibbeson MBE, fondly known as the ‘People’s Sculptor,’ was born in Barnsley and takes pride in his mining heritage, which he can trace back over 170 years. Graham will share stories of his life and artistic process in creating his world-renowned sculptures, which he affectionately refers to as his ‘family’.


This event promises to be a humorous reflection of his fifty-year career and current exhibition, expect some gags and surprises along the way.


Afterwards there will be an opportunity to purchase Graham’s autobiography, signed by Graham himself.
