About
It’s the Mental Health Museum‘s 50th anniversary and the Museum continues to be a place for discussion. While they’ll always be interested in the past they’re also thinking about the future. We’re on a mission to grow our collection so it remains relevant for people today and tomorrow.
Help the Museum build a people’s history of mental health by sharing your objects, memories and thoughts with them. Whether you work in mental health services, you’re on your own mental health journey or have supported someone through theirs, your experiences are important and can help broaden the understanding of mental health.
Join the Mental Health Museum on Saturday 7 September. There’ll be guided tours of the exhibition at 11am and 1:30pm, and visitors can get their hands on history with some unique and intriguing handling objects!
Everyone is welcome.
Booking is preferred. Please call 01924 316360 or email museum@swyt.nhs.uk to book, and help shape the future collection of the Mental Health Museum.
