National Police Dog Trials 2026

Head to National Trust Nostell for the 64th annual National Police Dog Trials!

Hosted by West Yorkshire Police, this annual event brings together the UK’s top police dog teams to showcase their exceptional skills, dedication and service to public safety. It’s a celebration of canine excellence, and a day of family fun at a stunning venue!

Enjoy a variety of activities such as:

• Dog agility
• Den building
• Woodland trails
• Food and drink stalls
• Live band

As well as partner stalls and the chance to meet West Yorkshire police departments including the Mounted Section, Wildlife Crime Team, Dog Section (of course!) and lots more.

Bring the family – as well as your well-behaved four-legged friends – for a day of paw-some fun!

Tickets will not be required to gain entry to the event, however if you are arriving by car you will need to pre-book a parking space. This is £5 per car for the day.

The event runs from 9.00am – 5.00pm (the competition is due to conclude at approximately 3.30pm, followed by a parade and winner announcements) .
