Meet at Pit Yard


Unearth the secrets of our coal’s incredible journey, from the mighty locomotives that carried it, to the hidden passage that saw it vanish far away from site. 




Other activities include the Power House (open daily 10am-4pm), Steam Winding Demonstrations, Nature Trail, Paddy Train (weather dependent), Horsekeeper talks (12pm & feeding 2:30pm), Pithead Baths Explore (12pm daily), Discovery Spots, and lots, lots more!
