Pianist, arranger and composer Dean Stockdale is renowned for his beautifully expressive, swinging style and refined musical touch. A familiar presence on the UK jazz scene, he performs widely with his trio and quartet, collaborating with some of the country’s leading jazz artists.
Deeply inspired by the great piano masters — including Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans and Gene Harris — Dean has developed a distinctive voice that blends elegance, groove and lyrical sensitivity. His acclaimed albums Promise the Moonand Celebrating Oscar have received national radio airplay, earning recognition for their warmth, creativity and musicianship.
With the Dean Stockdale Quartet, he presents a vibrant and engaging tribute to the music of Oscar Peterson — one of jazz’s most iconic pianists. Expect inventive and stylish arrangements of Peterson’s repertoire, alongside original compositions and fresh interpretations of classic jazz standards.
