Bring your wellies and winter coat as we join our storyteller and the team to walk the trail at Pontefract Park in search of Peter’s peregrine.
Participants will be encouraged to move, splash, and explore the great outdoors as we read the story along the way. There will be fun activities along the trail to keep little ones warm and entertained.
A free Peter’s Peregrine book and activity pack for each family booked on and a hot drink for all event participants at the end.

To mark the launch of Our Year – Wakefield District 2024, Wakefield Council is hosting 24 in 24, a celebration which will see 24 events take place on one jampacked day and bringing communities together.
Taking place across each ward of the Wakefield district on Saturday 13th January 2024, 24 in 24 will be a taste of what’s to come throughout Our Year’s 366-day programme of activity.
The day will feature 24 free events spanning walks, exhibitions, and interactive workshops and activities on your doorstep!
