About

Wakefield Museums & Castles’ latest display at the South Elmsall Library Museum Hub celebrates over 25 years of innovation at South Kirkby’s Production Park.

Production Park is a campus of creative businesses at the cutting edge of the live events industry. The park develops everything from stage shows and stadium tours to virtual reality and eSports. It welcomes some of the biggest stars from the world of entertainment.  The team at South Kirkby design and manufacture live events that are broadcast, streamed and staged across the globe.

The display features exciting objects kindly lent by the companies at Production Park. See intriguing items linked to the park’s superstar clients – from Katy Perry to Hugh Jackman! The beautiful exhibits also showcase the expertise and craftsmanship of the park’s highly skilled team.

An exclusive new short film accompanies the display. Big Ambitions: Women @ Production Park shines a light on the inspiring women who work and study at Production Park. Find out how they are making their mark on a once male-dominated industry. Hear about their career journeys and future plans, and discover what makes Production Park so special.
