Rhubarb lovers rejoice! Wakefield’s celebration of its most famous vegetable returns to paint the city pink from 17-19 February.
Alongside over 60 vendors showcasing the very best local and regional foodie treats, a selection of caterers will be onsite for visitors wishing to tickle their taste buds while they’re out and about some with their own rhubarb goodies:
- The Yorkshire Crepe Company – Goats cheese, roasted red peppers, rhubarb chutney and rocket crepe
- Working Streets – Gourmet burgers with rhubarb chutney
- Northwest Game – Wild duck breast with caramelised onion and spiced rhubarb chutney
- Falafel Street Kitchen
- La Pitta Catering
The Rhu-bar will also make its triumphant return – indulge in a selection of delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
Wakefield Music Collective presents Rhubarb Jam at the Rhub-Bar. Expect a whole programme of live music. Find out more here.
The Rhu-Bar is open from 10am – 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
