Join Pontefract Castle on Saturday 27 January for a day dedicated to the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!


The Big Garden Birdwatch is the world’s largest garden wildlife survey. Here at Pontefract Castle, they’ve got a pretty big ‘garden’ to spot our feathered friends in!


Pick up a free spotters sheet from the Gift Shop and help to record all of the birds visiting the Castle.


The Pontefract Castle team will be doing their official Birdwatch hour at 1pm – but you can join in any time between 11am and 3pm!


There will also be free bird-themed crafts in the Activity Zone. Make your own rocking robins and bird puppets to take home!


The crafts will also be available on Sunday 28 January, 11am to 3pm.
