Nik Svarc (guitar), Steve Hanley (drums/percussion) and Martin Longhawn (organ/piano/keys) form a powerhouse trio, S.H.L, that bridges the worlds of jazz-rock and Hammond funk with electrifying energy and style. Together, they breathe new life into an old-school sound, blending deep grooves, irresistible hooks, and explosive improvisation.
With Leeds guitarist Nik Svarc’s unmistakable tone — the kind other players can only dream of — at the forefront, the trio delivers music that’s both technically dazzling and emotionally charged. His command of the instrument shines throughout, balanced perfectly by Hanley’s dynamic drive and Longhawn’s rich, soulful textures.
