Come and see several examples of John Skeaping’s work in Castleford.
“John Skeaping was one of Britain’s foremost sculptors, and his work is represented in many distinguished collections” – Victoria & Albert Museum.
Leaping Antelopes is a tile frieze on Castleford Grade II listed school built in 1941. View the tiles and hear a talk about this fascinating artwork.
Viewings of the tiles takes place between 9:30am and 11:30am with a talk taking place at 11am.
Please note it is not possible to park within the school grounds. Parking is available on adjoining streets.
