About
Did you know that many of the games we play today can be traced back to the distant past? For example golf – or ‘colf’ – was played during the medieval period!
Explore the past through play. Discover sports from history and have a go yourself at Pontefract Castle.
As well as drop-in activities running all day, there will be:
- Interactive roleplay at 11:15am, 1:15pm and 2:15pm.
- ‘Have a Go’ Archery sessions at 11:45am, 12:45pm and 1:45pm
Which game will be your favourite?
(All activities are free and no booking required, but you may have to queue at busy times)
There is a bookable SEND families version of these activities on the 6 August, 10am to 10:45am.
