About
Go on a bird spotting adventure along this family trail every day throughout February half-term and see if you can spot feathered friends!
The gardens and parkland at Nostell are full of amazing birds from curious little robins to the noisy rooks that roost in the woodland. Join us as we celebrate our feathered-friends with a family-friendly trail around the gardens.
Learn about some of their unique behaviours and have fun looking out for the beautiful hand-painted birds hanging in the trees.
Take a moment to pause along the way, grab your binoculars and see if you can spot some birds visiting our feeding station. The trail will lead you through the woodland adventure play area, with opportunities for little ones to look up to the skies on the swings, shake those tail-feathers on the wobble boards or feel like they are flying through the trees on the zip-wire.
If you visit on a weekend or the Wednesday in half-term week, make sure to call into the Orangery to have a go at some fabulous bird-themed crafts (open to all ages).
The gardens open 11-4pm (last entry 3pm). Please note – the house is closed until 1 March.
The trail is free but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
