Drop in to the Harvest Festival Coffee Morning at St Michael’s Church in Carleton.
This delightful church will be open to celebrate Harvest Festival and volunteers will be available to outline the history of this delightful mid Victorian church.
Refreshments and cakes will also be on sale at the Harvest Festival celebration.
A mid Victorian village church, built by local benefactors, with beautiful stained glass windows and depictions of St Michael in many mediums, throughout the church. The porch contains a tablet to the memory of Colonel Wood who was a veteran of the Napoleonic wars and recipient of the Prussian Iron Cross and his grave lies in the attached burial ground.
Walk-ins accepted, though pre-booking is helpful.
