Stay and Play Dog Days

Bring your pup to try out some new agility equipment, snap the perfect ‘paw-trait’, discover workshops with the Dogs Trust, and chat with staff to help us improve our welcome for dogs.

Canine visitors and their owners will be able to talk with National Trust staff and burn off some energy on new agility equipment, which has been funded by National Trust partners, Forthglade. The fun, free play area will include hurdles, seesaws, tunnels and long jumps.

The Dogs Trust will also be on-site, running free workshops and games on Friday 7 October.

Other activities include a ‘paw-trait’ podium where pooches can pose for the camera behind an ornate picture frame, in keeping with the style of the grand Palladian mansion. If it is warm, dogs can enjoy cooling down with a new range of dog ice cream, which will be sold in the café over the weekend.
