Try your hand at embroidery at Stitch and Sip at WX Wakefield Exchange!


Join embroidery artist Jessica Grady to create your own mixed media textile artwork, using sequins and embellishments created from recycled materials including paper, plastic and textile waste.


Jessica will demonstrate her colourful and creative techniques to layer up and stitch on your various embellishments, and you can also try your hand at making some recycled sequins! You will leave the workshop with your own mini textile artwork.


This is a fun and colourful workshop open to all abilities, with no prior stitching experience needed. All materials are provided – just bring yourself and a willingness to get creative!


Grab a drink from the bar, relax and enjoy an evening of creativity.
