About
Swing into Christmas with a festive evening of music, dancing and seasonal cheer!
Start the night with a fun swing dance taster class, where you’ll learn the basics of this joyful dance style – the session is beginner friendly, so even if you have never danced before, our friendly tutors from Swing Dance Leeds will have you swinging in no time!
Then it’s time to put your new moves into action as live band The Big Easy takes to the stage, performing an uplifting mix of classic swing tunes and festive favourites. This energetic band consist of vocals, trumpet, sax, guitar, piano, double bass and drums. Their repertoire spans the best swing from throughout the 20th century, from the early days of jazz, classic New Orleans tunes and lively jump-jive – and of course, some festive classics.
Join us for this fantastic festive night and be transported back in time to the Christmas of old!
