About
To celebrate Heritage Open Days, The Art House will be hosting two very special open days– opening parts of the building so visitors can explore the old 118-year-old, former Carnegie Library (now part of their Studio community).
The Carnegie Library side of the Studios showcases some of the building’s original features. Pick up a map to discover the original features of the former Library, including the book lift, original tiles and restored architecture. Learn about the building’s history through the 20th and 21st centuries, whilst also exploring images of refurbishments and floor plans.
Heritage Open Day is also a great time to visit the latest exhibitions in the Art House galleries, as well as to stop by the Shop and Coffee house which will be open throughout the day.
