Join The Wild Escape at Castleford Museum this April to celebrate the native species that hide in our collections and displays.
The Wild Escape is a major new project led by Art Fund uniting hundreds of museums with schools and families in a celebration of UK wildlife and creativity.
Follow a trail to find the wildlife hidden in the museum and create an awesome artwork based on what the animals would do if they found their way home!
SEND families are welcome at all of our sessions but we are running this SEND session for those families who require a more relaxed atmosphere.
The session will be run with more sensory activities, more focus on independent learning, a lower light level and with a sensory tent and ear defenders available upon request.
Non-SEND sessions at Castleford Museum will be taking place on Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13 April. Click here for more information.
