For the kids – A Week of Tomfoolery
Monday 14 to Saturday 19 August, 10am to 3pm
Free and no booking required.
It’s time to get silly this summer with our jolly Jester!
Our tipi is the perfect stage for your circus acts.
Join in with funny tricks, songs and music to entertain the Lords and Ladies with your tomfoolery.
For the zen-seekers – Sunset Yoga at the Castle (ages 14+)
Thursday 17 August, 6pm to 10pm
Take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy a beautiful evening of yoga at the Castle.
Led by Emma Thomas, this evening of relaxation and mindfulness is just what you need to energise you as a midweek treat.
The session includes 75 minutes of nourishing slow soul flow yoga.
A live DJ playing chill-out tunes and a live pianist will provide the soundscape.
The tipi will be transformed into a Zen Den to complement the evening.

For the live music lovers – Pontefract Castle Presents… Honey Trap

With the tent as their stage, settle in for 2 hours of tunes from this talented up-and-coming trio.
