About
Join Pontefract Castle‘s fantastic volunteers for a free talk about how the English Civil Wars affected Yorkshire.
Unlike past conflicts, the Civil Wars of 1642-49 were unique. They impacted every part of the kingdoms of England, Scotland and Ireland and their populations.
Yorkshire would be no different.
Learn about the key battles, skirmishes and sieges that affected the county as a whole, and Pontefract in particular, during this period.
Suitable for ages 12+
