LonGBoaT Wakefield is proud to present this year’s Wakefield Community Pride – a free, family-friendly celebration bringing together the LGBT+ community, allies, local organisations and residents from across the Wakefield district.
Head to WX Wakefield Exchange between 12pm and 6pm for a day of fun, with a packed stage and activities for everyone.
Throughout the day you can:
- Meet local charities and community groups
- Browse a wide range of community and independent stalls
- Enjoy live music and fantastic drag performances from talented local artists
- Take part in family-friendly arts and crafts activities
- Discover health and wellbeing organisations offering information, advice and support
- Visit the LonGBoaT Wakefield stall to learn more about their work across the district
- Pick up official Pride merchandise to help support the charity throughout the year
- Try your luck on the fundraising tombola with some great prizes
Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Don’t forget to dress with Pride!
